He took the time to listen carefully to my daughter’s medical history and ordered all the right tests—including lab work, an MRI, MRA, and EEG. What truly amazed me was the follow-up: his office called every day for the first three days just to check on her. That level of care is unheard of in my experience. OMG, I have to say this was such a totally different experience from what we've previously had with 2 other doctors! My mom loved the doctor and the experience, can not say that about the previous ones. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Pahlavanzadeh was amazing. She actually listened to what we had to say and didn't just talk at us. She made recommendations that the others hadn't, and it actually made sense. Really wish we had found them sooner!

My appointment was changed from a Wednesday to a Monday and the Doctor was overbooked. After waiting 45 minutes and it wasn't looking like I would be called soon, I rebooked my appointment and left. When rebooking I learned that the Doctor was only at this site one day a week, Monday, I should have been told before they changed my date of appointment that this was the case. I will keep the next appointment but if I have the same wait, I will seek another neurologist and not from this practice.

Dr. Sonia has the most welcoming personality. She is very patient and very thorough when she is explaining things to my 81 year old mom ( dealing with neuropathy & other neuro issues). My mother likes that she gets right to the point. I referred a family friend to her last week.

If you don't mind riding on a veritable conveyor belt with other confused and annoyed patients... go, see Dr Kalirao. I recently had an appointment with Dr. Kalario, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I was met with ridiculous wait times (no seats available as waiting room was filled with more than 30 patients and others waiting outside), despite having a scheduled appointment. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in assisting patients. During the consultation, Dr. Kalirao and her nurse practitioner, appeared rushed and did not seem to care about my concerns. I felt dismissed and unimportant, as though my health issues were not taken seriously. The examination was brief and lacked thoroughness, leaving me with more questions than answers. To make matters worse, the billing process was confusing, and I was overcharged for services that were not adequately explained to me or even needed. Overall, this visit was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Dr. Kalirao or this practice to others seeking quality medical care.

I’ve been fighting my health plan for Botox for so long so I change my health insurance and I got the call to let that they approve it. I had my first Botox injection and I’m feeling so much better a little bit sore but no migraines. Thank god.

Dr. Kalirao is an amazing physician, she takes time and listen your concerns. My husband had the botox injection for the first time with her and was amazing. Immediately released his pain.

My doctor is fine. This negative review has to do with the recent Convenience Fee the practice “offers” when using a credit card. That fee is waived when using cash. Did I go to a doctor or a gasoline station?

All of my doctors are within the UHealth Miami system specifically so that I can have all of my records in one place. But I won't leave Dr. Kalirao. She spends time with you and really listens and understands. How many doctors do you feel heard by? I don't know about you, but I'm finding it more and more rare every day. I just like everything about her. She has a great bedside manner, makes you feel comfortable, and seems to really care. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

No complaints about the doctor. She seemed very knowledgeable. But here is what I didn’t like: The over 1 hour wait to see the doctor. After that long wait, I had to first talk to medical student for him to relay my issues to the doctor. He was very nice but I would have preferred that the doctor was with him so that the doctor could hear from me first hand and not just the medical student relaying it to her. Lastly the next follow up visit was not available until February which is 3 months out. So I had to schedule it with a different doctor to be seems sooner.

I was recently hospitalized for Guilain Barre and Dr. Abukhalil was my neurologist. I was terrified and completely clueless as to what i could expect. Dr. Abukhalil was calming, competent, and kind. He walked me through the processes every day and made me feel confident that it would he okay. The Dr was very nice and seemed to care The only problem was that it was a long time waiting once I was called in.

He cares and listens unlike most doctors. I spent months trying to get help for my nonstop migraines and no one listened. I’m so grateful to have found myself under his care.

I was fortunate enough to have met Dr. Kalirao for a consultation and found her to give a thorough examination . The staff are focused and do their best to maintain the patient's scheduled appointment time. The nurse practitioner was also thorough and helpful and gathered information before my doctor visit.

I was very pleased with the service

Long wait with many people in waiting room which is not ideal in COVID times. Seems overbooked. Very noisy with much PHI discussed in front of other patients. Such as taking new patient info over phone and repeating back so we can hear and discussing balances. Appt felt rushed once finally in there. Verdict still out on quality. Considering memory issues written instructions should be given. Felt like I repeated history 4 different ways. Form, tech, intern doctor and felt unsure doctor reviewed it all. Not peaceful visit. Compared to GI and ObGyn I just saw who had privacy booths for discussing bills and appt setting. And spacious waiting rooms. Suggest adding privacy booths and expanding wait room or book less at a time. I was concerned seeing frail elderly awaiting appts for packed waiting room. Also all the seats had stains and looked unclean.

The wait time was a bit long. The laptop with the first assistant had another persons name on it. After that everything went smoothly.

My appointment was at 8:30 I got there at 8:40. Went in to see the dr room at 9:40 waited in the waiting did not see the dr till 1010 Why make me get there so early and have to wait so long. I respect your time respect mine
