About Heidys Martinez, PT

Heidys Martinez is a registered bilingual physical therapist with 33 years of experience. After graduating with a pedagogic teaching degree from high school in her native country of Colombia, she enrolled at The Metropolitan Health Science University in Barranquilla, Colombia to earn her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. Shortly after, she moved to the United States to become a board-certified physical therapist in Florida and Tennessee.

Ms. Martinez evaluates and treats a variety of Neurologic and Orthopedic disorders, including sports injuries, balance and vestibular disorders, degenerative nerve and muscle diseases, strokes, Parkinson's disease, joint replacements, and gait disorders, among other rehabilitative conditions.

Heidys is an avid reader and a devoted clinician who finds reward in helping patients obtain the best care. With vast experience and exposure to the diverse population of South Florida, Heidys has kept herself in the vanguard of current physical therapy practices and techniques available throughout the years.
